ADDING INNOVATION TO EXAMINATIONS

In the recent weeks we have been flooded with requests for answers for the exam papers posted on the website.  In response to this need we have now come up with answer sections ( called Answer WIKIS). Wherein, you can upload the answers to the exam papers and view other users answers to theses papers . Each and every exam paper shall soon have its very own section wherein students can view and  upload the answers to the paper. These answer sections (Answer WIKIS) shall be freely editable by anyone thus any answer can be added by anyone at any given time. As all of you have been solving the exam papers in the past few months we would really appreciate it if you could put up the answers to the exam papers that you have solved. This would also give you the opportunity to confirm your answers with others who use these sections *Answer sections (Answer Wikis) are currently available for ICSE board papers and some ICSE 07 prelim papers They will  be available for all the exam papers on the website by Monday 19th March.

How you can access and use the answers sections (answers wiki)

1.Each and every exam paper on the website will soon have a answers section link right next to it. So you merely need to go where the exam paper is and click the "answers and discussions of this paper" hyperlink. Click here to see an example.

2.The answer section will then open in a new window and the information as already entered by other users will appear.

3.To add or change  an answer simply click on "edit this page"  add your answers and then click on "save this page'

Rules for the answers section

1. Each and every answer sections (answers wiki) has a short introduction to the way the section works and operates Please leave this heading unedited. This is for the benefit of users.

2. While entering the answers please note the question number properly and try to present the data as orderly as possible. This will prevent the section from getting too complicated, and making it easy for the user

3.As far as possible give the detailed answer rather than a just the final figures( It is so frustrating when the text books do that). However, there is no hard and fast rule, if you feel that you don't have the time, then the final answers are OK as well. We encourage you to solve the papers completely online so as to help other users as well as get confirmation of your own answers as well.

4. You are free to edit anyone's answer but please do so only if you are sure. In case you are unsure just put up your answer along with the given one as an alternative. This way users can decide which answer they feel is better. If you come across an answer that matches yours, you can state that the answer is confirmed by typing "confirmed" followed by the number 1. (This signifies that one user has confirmed the answer). If a second user wants to confirm the same answer he changes the number to 2 and so on and so forth.

5.If anyone finds out that an Answer Section (answer Wiki) has been vandalised please send us an email at admin1@exampapersonline.com .In such a case we will revert back to the last good version of the Answer Wiki.

6.The answers wiki section has just started so we'll evolve new rules as it goes along. Obviously your experiences with this service will help us improve it  We would love to receive your comments and suggestions on improving this service.  Please email any comments, suggestions, feedback to admin1@exampapersonline.com

PS if you feel this explanation on this page is too complicated please call us on (022) 24323484 and we'll try and simplify it
